Lymphatic Drainage post-Op

 

Postoperative lymphatic drainage is a massage technique aimed at accelerating the recovery process after surgery. Through slow, rhythmic and gentle movements, this massage stimulates the lymphatic system, reducing swelling and promoting tissue regeneration.


Indications:


  • Reduction of postoperative edema

  • Decrease in pain and muscle tension

  • Prevention of adhesions and fibrous scarring

  • Improvement of lymphatic and blood circulation

  • Acceleration of the healing process


Contraindications:


  • Acute or chronic infections

  • Deep venous thrombosis

  • Severe heart disease

  • Severe renal failure

  • Presence of open or unhealed wounds
